A “cellular agriculture starter-kit”, featuring an oxygen-permeable autoclavable “soft bioreactor”, to launch on the Ocatte Base B2B cellular agriculture marketplace
To date, producing cell-cultured food products, even at a benchtop scale, has required extensive specialized equipment and expertise. IntegriCulture's cellular agriculture starter kit, featuring the Oxy-thru Cultivator™, opens the door for a wider range of entities to engage in rapid prototyping of the nutritional, organoleptic, and other profiles of cell-cultured food products.
The Oxy-thru Cultivator™ is a line of bioreactors made with oxygen-permeable and autoclavable materials. These product features enable cells to be cultured at higher cell densities while ensuring simple maintenance. The product was developed by IntegriCulture Inc. and Sumitomo Riko under the concerted effort of the CulNet Consortium.
The cellular agriculture starter kit and the Oxy-thru Cultivator™ will be added to the previously announced Ocatte Base B2B cellular agriculture marketplace, which is open to both industry and academic customers. Additionally, these products will be displayed at the AFTEA trade show in Singapore from November 19th to 21st.
